2009 Grey Cup Festival

As Director of Marketing for the 2009 Grey Cup & Festival, one of my initiatives was to leverage social media to engage with CFL fans, help build our brand online and provide value for our sponsors. I worked with Trevor in implementing our social media website – GreyCupFestivalConnect.com and contracted Sport Fan Connect to initiate a social media strategy, online contests and on-location social media activation to help drive traffic to our new website. With Trevor’s assistance, our website saw a significant spike in traffic and social media proved to be a tremendous compliment to all of our traditional marketing efforts.
